Cameroon Savanna

Description:

We hunt from two different areas in Cameroon :

- the Faro hunting area is situated at 4-5 hours’ drive from Garoua, bordering the Faro National Park. It is a super bushy savannah area, 125,000 hectares wide, covered by hills and rivers. The density of animals on this area is fabulous and you will enjoy tracking and stalking the Lord Derby Eland among a lot of other antelopes and animals. On this peculiar hunting area, we organize “old style” African safaris from a very nice hunting camp. On the same hunt, you can harvest animals such as Western Roan, West African Savannah Buffalo and other western species such as Harnessed Bushbuck, Sing Sing Waterbuck, Lelwel Hartebeest and more.

- the Mayo Rey hunting area is at 3-hour drive from Ngaoundere and Garoua, in the north-eastern side of the country. It is bordered by the world-famous Bouba Njida National Park, known for its abundant wildlife. Our area counts a great number of Lord Derby Elands and Roan Antelopes. Our hunting zone of 65,000 hectares is covered of bushy savannah, interspersed with small forest galleries, particularly appreciated by the buffalos. Several lakes, where placid hippopotamus frolic, attract the Central Cobs, the Sing Sing Waterbucks and the Korrigums.
